CBD is a natural substance (cannabinoids) that is extracted from hemp plants and has a powerful medicinal effect. CBD should not be confused with cannabis or weed, because they contain THC. THC gives a "high" (or stoned) feeling, CBD definitely does NOT! CBD is the only cannabinoid with which several controlled experimental studies as well as human clinical studies have been conducted in multiple sclerosis, neuropathic pain, schizophrenia, bipolar mania, social phobia, insomnia, Huntington's disease and epilepsy.
Endocannabinoid system (ECS)
The human body has a very extensive endocannabinoid system. This is an important biological system and every person also produces cannabinoids. CBD is a plant-based cannabidiol and activates the cannabinoid receptors (CB receptors) in the body. The endocannabinoid system remains under preliminary research, but may be involved in regulating physiological and cognitive processes, including fertility, pregnancy, during pre- and postnatal development, various activity of immune system, appetite , pain-sensation, mood, and memory.
Transdermal versus oral
The major benefit of the patch technology is that it has a much better bioavilibility (±4 times higher) then an oral product. Due to the slow release the patch gives a gradual dose over up to 24 hours. No peaks occur due to a sudden high dose. Therefor the effect is longer and more even.
These patches are made from 32mg or 64mg of hemp extract by cold extraction method and obtained through a natural solvent. This pure extract contains a very broad phytochemical spectrum and has a very high synergistic balance. These patches differ in composition and effect of our CBD patches.
